Our heart-felt condolences to the victims of Haiti and Penang Dragon Boat incidents.
It is sad to see both Haiti earthquake and Penang student dragon boat disasters happen in the beginning of year 2010.
Haiti seems the fortune teller and the reflection of mini end- of- world that alert the mankind of such dissatrous one day
Indeed the globe is "very tight".
Haiti is much worse than South Asia tsunami with her non-govermental, non-access mode of transportation situation, non-security protection after the quake hit.
Man show their most ugly side when come to survival when the basic need "food" is no longer in place. Robbery, killing, unrest.........
Imagine it, if one day the world or all countries in this globe happen such dissaters simultaneuosly ; no government, police-army are hit, UN organisation collapsed, Beverly Hill are down by act-of-god damage.
No food..imagine that...
No more Hollywood , Hong Kong Stars with their kind of songs, telephone call, ineterviews, media coverage.... in glamarous type of high profile rescue program to call upon man to help man.
....simply becos they themselves are helpless becos they are out of food too !
Penang dragon boat is a much much sad story.
Normally like this kind of incident, people are shock and sad in first 2 days.
When the mind start settling down, people begin to find fault , who should be responsible.
Hey.. this is again natural disaster, why pin-pointing ? Wud finger pointing could recover the life of those sunk under the sea ?
Do not simply throw anger, sadness or start saying I want to sue........ onto those innocent one.
As Buddism teaches us...Accept It !
