Amazing Sabah - Fish KissBite You !

As said, the experience of Mauritius trip in 2006 has now further proven comparatively, our own homeland Malaysia, Kota Kinabalu(KK), Sabah portraying the amazing yet world class islands, beaches, underwater world…..

The tropical sun, the rainforest greeneries in both the mainland uphill Keningau forest attached to the Mount Kinabalu, the highest peak in South East Asia and the blossoming islands live along with the natural habitats in this north Borneo soil has endorsed my personal gauging and expectation of Malaysia’s own natural values.

The ‘Home Endorsement’ is now having it further confirmation to write off the myth , perhaps, to be fair, the better story line telling as fiction technique of Mauritius which is thousands miles away that she is one of the best beaches in the world.

Sticking our head by cms to the seashores, beach fronts, even on any jetties, woo la la…….., the crystal clear swimming pool liked sea water, guarantee battalions of fishes, “Nemo”, “White Long Fish”, Squid, Sea Horses, little sharks, Corals and more to be spotted at this South China Sea seabed.

Comparing to Mauritius,  stretching out of thousand of sea knots, sailing along the very fierce and scary Indian ocean waves, finally come near to an no-man land island, ha, there you are, just a very small radius of clear water area,  say, hmmm.. maximum 100m2,  one only manage to  snore scaling here after a long bumpy sailing.

Why hustle and bustle traveling to the French colony Mauritius with 7 hours ?

Hop in the domestic flight from KL to KK just a 2-hour fleet.

Here comes our Sabah, not only one of the best but rather Platinum grade tourism spot despite of our lacking skill in telling the world the ‘real story’ how good of our leisure greenery that we are offering by our mother nature.

The mentor who has been showing me about Sabah all these years is the old friend of mine, a successful businessman and very proud man of his own native, is now the Deputy Chairman of Kadazan-Dusun Cultural Department.

Long house, tobacco wrapping, hunting blowing pipe, mountain rice wine steaming, height- jumping for bride and traditional appetizer and fish cooking, and cultural bamboo dance performance happened in this organized yard.

It is hard to believe to see a New Zealand like cow farm at the bottom of Mount KK with high sea level very cooling breeding black &white milk cows and some sheeps.

The only deficiency is about the number of cow breeds here, it should be triple the capacity to fulfill the cow milk demand.

When someone offers a Fish Spa at KK, we will have the impression of those shopping malls in KL offering 40mm size of little fish to tickle your legs.  Such stereotype thinking will definitely make one’s mistake by skipping the excitement of kissing and mild biting by the  big fresh water fish with size of 400mm at the river of Mount KK.

Despite the uptrend of vegetarian eating culture, without indulging the seafood here will be incomplete here.  Lobsters , groupers, tiger prawns, clams, mussles, genetic improved oyster….”delizioso” !

Keep telling your story line....Sabah !
