Russian soup served in San Marco Hotel , Deira ( USD150/nite for 2 stars). This hotel has many russian clients, therefore they serve Russian Foods...even the menu, newspaper, tv program, the hotal catered all convienience to this non - English nation. Even the receptionist speak Russian !

Excellent services provided at hotel door front . Malaysia is always behind in service quality until today. I strongly at the opinion of " BIG ATTTITUDE PROBLEM"of Malaysian when come to service.

甫结束11月底中东阿联酋长国杜拜经贸之旅,2008年杪的杜拜是在一片人心惶惶的现象,矛盾的心情来结束歌舞昇平的年份。

杜拜前五年直线上升的大势发展,万万没想到在今天十月份已开始见证了“剥皮见肉”的经济下滑的情势。

如世界其他地方,那里也都受到欧美经济风暴的影响;或研其实之一,她也可能遭受媒体每天轰炸式的报道影响了经贸情绪。

大马,杜拜也不例外,受踩刹车的局面 !

大马另当别论,早在2-3 年前已见经贸如蕉叶在烈热当空慢飘, 活动已大不如前。此刻更火上加油 !

杜拜的直线上扬发展就如她的世界最高的摩天楼般冲天,棕榈岛向海洋宣展势力;世界最大的“血并- 杜拜商场”,沙漠滑雪场向大自然逞强。。。。。

只有20万的本地人口对比近2百万的外来人口,这已足于表现出杜拜蓬勃,澎湃的活力,拉拢了世界的资源、资金、人力与她共舞。

统治者是典型的生意人,懂得在广大的沙漠、鸟不生蛋、小渔村里‘无中生有’,创举了最大、最长、最高、最贵等的概念式资本主义精神。

此趟让我个人领教了杜拜的高消费失衡的社会现象。

普通每月房租是RM10,000 (RM1000/sf),而且需签一年合同, 总值RM12万/年;的士起步价为RM20加RM16/每公里;出租车为RM60/每小时;一般女助理月薪为RM3000-4000; 销售员RM5000。此价码还是以外劳水平来自如自印度、菲律宾、非洲、巴基斯坦、中国供应的人力资源。
每人需要至少付RM2500-3000/人共付月房租。(RM1 : Durham1)

杜拜的大兴土木是因911恐袭事件以后,没法回流至欧美的中东资金, 被逼留守在杜拜, 所谓当年正崛起的中东金融区域中心的概念。印度的热钱、欧美的金融衍生品也大势的资助了这曾经是小渔村而又没有产油的阿联酋长国的一州。

次贷风暴大大影响了杜拜的情绪; 新的土木工程紧急刹车,搞得大家如临大敌。万万想不到此般倒直的倾泻就发生在短短的两个月里 ( 自十月份)。

如今,一夜之间,热钱变冷了,澎湃的激情已“泻”了,姿态放低,尤如婚后冷却期,期待生儿育女的另一个激情的到来 !

这一趟, 我了解了两门学说 :

(一) 焦急及悲观派 - 库存在手,货价急速下滑、滞销。 面对赔钱在卖及流动资金急速短缺的噩运;

(二) 乐观派 – 持续‘不买货’的现象,将耗尽库存量,一旦需求信心回稳,到时将出现供不应求的商机

此次的金融风暴也启发了我们, 大型经贸事业如外销, 收购/ 合并等的企业经营者必具备经济师般解读实况与未来的走势的能力。当大集团欲出售如日冲天的业务于小集团,固中必有道理,大集团必已了解了国际间的大势。要不然的话,大集团不会轻易的将肥田让梨。


此时此刻,经济师必胜出一筹。
